We write motorcycle insurance in 48 states. At this time, we’re unable to offer liability coverage insurance policies in Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C. However, if you live in the covered states, you’re also covered when traveling to those areas.
No matter what state you live in, you are required to carry a basic insurance policy. Beyond that, most states have specific requirements. Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Insurance Services offers several discounts to its policyholders that may result in a reduced monthly insurance cost. If you own more than one cycle, own a home, have taken a motorcycle safety course (such as our Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy), or are a H.O.G.® member, you might be eligible for a discount on your insurance rate. Roadside Assistance is an available add-on coverage option for all policyholders, providing emergency service to your motorcycle due to battery failure, flat tire, lock-out, or mechanical or electrical breakdown. You’ll also be covered for immediate need of fuel, oil, fluid, or water, along with towing services to the nearest qualified service facility if required. Learn more.

If you’ve voluntarily taken and passed a motorcycle safety course in the past five years, you might qualify for a discount. We accept most safety courses, including the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy.

Yes, you can. There’s even a Harley-Davidson® Insurance discount for those who pay their bill in full a year at a time. But you don't have to. We offer several payment options.
You can pay by phone using a credit card or debit card. Or you can pay online using our secure site, including recurring automated payments. We even offer a Quick Pay option online. You don’t need to create an account to use Quick Pay, but you will need to know your policy number.
